So How’s the House Building Coming Along?

Well…

I did make progress after the last post I wrote about this. Here are some pics:

Front door. I created the stained glass panel, but I purchased the door.

Front entryway with open balcony on second story. I created the wrought iron rail pattern to go with the pattern on the back door (which I also purchased). Also created the stained glass panel over the back door.

Looking into the library. Tiled design on floor courtesy of Google Images. Lovely fireplace courtesy of The Lair. (Not enough hours in the day to make everything myself!)

Living room. I created the beamed ceiling and the windows.

I love that I can build in a slinky dress. It makes my day. :-)

So there are the highlights. I was well on my way to completing the house when Regency Estates announced that they were moving Tuscany Island to three Open Sims: Oliveto, Tuscany, and Tuscana. I would retain the same prim allocation and tier but double my land…and I had just a few days to pack up.

As for my house, what took the better part of a week to make (off and on) I dismantled in about ten minutes. (sigh)

  1. You do gorgeous work!

  2. Oh, I LOVE YOU. :-D

  3. Looking good. I think I need a new house. But my main problem is that my plot looks horrible.
